Alder Ditsy Floral Buti Natural Linen Pillow Cover

We designed Alder as a compact floral buti with a crisp, repeatable cadence. It works as a linking pattern between larger florals and quieter solid textiles. Natural establishes the ground, Lemon Yellow carries the motif, and Brown defines the outline.

Material and Process

We print each color separately in our Jaipur workshop using carved wooden blocks. Registration is controlled by hand, so the printed line retains the slight shifts and changes in density that distinguish block printing from a mechanically repeated surface.

How It Lives in a Room

The Natural and Lemon Yellow palette is designed to hold its own beside warm wood, aged brass, leather, and quieter neutral textiles.
